Shipping & Processing Policy – Please Read Carefully

We are a small family-run nursery specializing in live fig cuttings and rooted plants. Unlike large retailers like Amazon, we do not offer same-day, next-day, or instant processing and shipping. Every order involves careful inspection, hand-preparation, and specialized packaging to protect delicate living biological material. We appreciate your understanding that this takes time and care, and we ask that you review all details before placing your order.

Order Processing Time – In-Stock Items

For in-stock items, we process and ship orders within 14 business days from the date the order is placed (Monday–Friday, excluding federal holidays and weekends). This allows us to properly inspect, prepare, and package each live plant or cutting.

  Orders placed after 2:00 PM [your time zone, e.g., EST] will be processed the following business day.

  During peak seasons, high order volume, or adverse weather that affects safe shipping of live plants, processing may take the full 14 business days or slightly longer. We will notify you by email of any significant delay.

  Business days do not include weekends or federal holidays.

Order Processing Time – Seasonal Preorder Items

Preorder items are grown or propagated seasonally and are not in stock at the time of purchase. We do not provide exact ship dates for preorders. Instead, preorders are fulfilled as soon as the plants are ready during the appropriate shipping season for your region and the specific variety. We ship them as quickly as possible once they meet our quality standards and weather conditions allow safe transit.

This seasonal approach is standard practice in the nursery industry to ensure plants arrive healthy and at the optimal time for planting. Estimated shipping seasons (e.g., Spring, Fall) are indicated on the product page where applicable. We will send proactive email updates on the status of your preorder. If the season ends without the plants being ready, we will contact you with options, including cancellation and full refund.

By placing a preorder, you acknowledge and accept these variable, season-based timelines and the possibility of delays due to growing conditions, propagation schedules, or weather.

Combined Orders Containing Both In-Stock and Preorder Items

If a single order contains both in-stock items and preorder items, all items in that order will ship together on the timeline of the preorder items (i.e., as soon as the preorder plants are ready in season). In-stock items will not be shipped separately or earlier. This is done to minimize packaging and shipping costs, reduce handling stress on live plants, and ensure consistent fulfillment.

By placing an order that mixes in-stock and preorder items, you explicitly agree to wait for the full seasonal preorder timeline for the entire order.

No Changes After Order Placement

Once an order is placed, no changes can be made. This includes (but is not limited to) changes to shipping address, billing address, items, quantities, splitting orders, or any other details. We process a high volume of orders and cannot guarantee that email requests for changes will be received or implemented in time.

Shipping Address Responsibility

It is your responsibility to ensure the shipping address entered at checkout is complete and correct before placing the order. We ship strictly to the address provided at the time of purchase. We are not responsible for orders shipped to an incorrect address due to customer error. If an order is returned to us because of an incorrect address, you will be responsible for any additional shipping costs to reship (if we agree to reship) or you may request a refund minus original shipping fees, subject to our Refund Policy.

Shipping & Transit Time (All Items)

Processing/handling time is separate from carrier transit time. Once shipped, you will receive a tracking number via email. Transit times vary by carrier (typically USPS, UPS, or FedEx) and location, generally 3–10 business days within the continental U.S. (longer to Alaska, Hawaii, or remote areas). Actual delivery dates are estimates only and not guaranteed.

Important Disclaimers for Live Plants & Cuttings

  Live fig cuttings, rooted plants, and other nursery stock are perishable biological material. Health during transit can be impacted by carrier handling, extreme temperatures, weather delays, or other factors beyond our control.

  We package every order with care, but we are not responsible for delays, damage, or issues caused by the carrier, weather, or handling after the package leaves our facility.

  We may delay or cancel shipments during extreme heat, cold, or unsafe conditions to protect the plants. In such cases, we will contact you to reschedule.

  Some states regulate or restrict shipping of live plants. By ordering, you confirm your location permits receipt of the items. We are not responsible for shipments refused or returned due to local laws.

No Guarantees on Delivery Dates

We do not guarantee any specific ship date, arrival date, or timeline beyond the stated processing windows. Customers expecting Amazon-style speed or precision should not order from us. If you require an order by a certain date, please contact us before ordering (rush options may be available for an additional fee on in-stock items only, subject to availability).

Tracking & Communication

You will receive an immediate order confirmation and a shipping notification with tracking once your order leaves our facility. For preorders or combined orders, we provide status updates as the season progresses. Please monitor your email and tracking. We are not responsible for lost or stolen packages after carrier delivery confirmation.

International or Restricted Shipping

We ship only within the continental United States (or specify your actual service area). Certain states or territories may be restricted due to agricultural regulations. Check product pages for details.

By placing an order with us (in-stock, preorder, or mixed), you expressly acknowledge and agree to this Shipping Policy in full. You understand we are a small nursery that hand-prepares seasonal live material, that in-stock processing takes up to 14 business days, that preorders ship seasonally as plants become ready (without exact dates), that mixed orders ship together on the preorder timeline, that we do not make changes after placement, and that you are fully responsible for providing a correct shipping address at checkout. You agree not to initiate chargebacks, disputes, or claims based solely on processing, shipping, address issues, or delivery timelines when we follow our stated policy.
