*In this package you will receive 1 fig cutting of Boston Unknown #12.

The mother fig tree does not die back to the ground like other figs in the area during winter even though it is uncovered. This is an amazing feature. Most of the figs that I have seen in the area and the ones I have tested in my own trial all die back to the ground in the winter climate. However, the Boston #12 fig tree does experience some die-back every year, but only on the younger shoots.

Flavor-wise, it's excellent: rich and deeply berry flavored.

*Please watch our instructional videos on the "Fig Care Series" page before attempting to root.*

All cuttings will be cut fresh to order on shipping date. These are cuttings from fruiting age fig trees, and they will need to be rooted.
