The American Fig Company
Boston Unknown #12 (rooted)
Boston Unknown #12 (rooted)
*In this package you will receive 1 small rooted fig of Boston Unknown #12.
The mother fig tree does not die back to the ground like other figs in the area during winter even though it is uncovered. This is an amazing feature. Most of the figs that I have seen in the area and the ones I have tested in my own trial all die back to the ground in the winter climate. However, the Boston #12 fig tree does experience some die-back every year, but only on the younger shoots.
Flavor-wise, it's excellent: rich and deeply berry flavored.
