The Mary Lane fig variety, nicknamed the "jelly fig," is known for its abundant production of tasty yellow figs with a juicy, nearly seedless center that resembles a strawberry. These figs have a soft, jelly-like texture and a sweet taste similar to agave syrup.

Site and Soil: Figs like 1/2 day to full sun and well-drained soil.
Pollination Requirements: self-fertile.
Hardiness: Figs are hardy to between 0° & 5° F with winter protection
Bearing Age: 1-2 years after planting
Size at Maturity: 8-10 ft in height, smaller with pruning.
Bloom Time: Flowers are not noticeable as they are inside the fruit
