The Osborn Prolific fig is a highly productive variety with a sweet, caramel-like flavor. It is similar in genetics to figs found in Turkmenistan in the Caspian Sea area, which are distinct from most figs that come from the Mediterranean region. This fig is highly sought after due to its creamy texture and delicate skin.
