Rogil is a rare Portuguese fig variety originating from the village of Rogil in the Algarve region. It produces medium to large fruit with dark skin and a rich red interior. The flavor is intensely sweet with berry and honey notes, complemented by a dense, jammy texture. Highly valued for both taste and productivity, Rogil performs well in warm, dry climates and is a standout variety for fresh eating or preserves.
