Sequoia Fig is a high-quality, medium to large-sized fig with yellow-green skin and reddish-amber pulp. Developed for the fresh market, this variety offers a delicate and smooth sweetness with a warm, golden richness. Its tight ostiole substantially restricts the entry of most insects into the interior of the fig fruit, making it an excellent choice for both fresh consumption and drying. The Sequoia tree is of medium vigor and size, and is a regular and productive bearer, developing both a breba and second crop in most years. Google Patents
