*In this order you will receive 1 rooted Tena Fig Tree
The Tena fig variety comes from California, and is known for its resistance to fruit rot, making it a popular choice for growers. The fruit itself is a striking light yellow green color, with a halo of white flesh encasing a light red center. This variety is ideal for drying and boasts a high sugar content and delicious flavor. It has a medium-sized, tight eye and a long season due to its breba crop, which ripens in late June, followed by the main crop in mid-July to late August.
